Objective

Introduce Washington, DC–area audiences to the immersive historical VR experience through firsthand creator experiences and locally relevant social content. Invite lifestyle and things-to-do influencers to attend as VIP guests, share their visits, and offer their audiences a 10% discount code to encourage interest in booking tickets. The campaign also included one paid creator partnership.

My Approach

I built the creator activation around a concentrated event moment, prioritizing locally relevant creators who could help build awareness through event-led social content.

I managed the creator pipeline from research and selection through personalized outreach, recruitment and booking, while coordinating RSVPs and guest-list logistics, content expectations and deliverables, along with creator-specific tracking links, paid creator negotiations and partnership coordination.

Throughout the activation, I managed creator relationships and deliverable follow-up as a white-label extension of the agency team, keeping the campaign moving from initial outreach through publication.

Campaign Execution

For the immersive historical VR experience in Washington, DC, the influencer activation was designed to turn a firsthand visitor experience into a reason for local audiences to discover the attraction. The campaign targeted creators with established connections to the DC area, particularly those sharing lifestyle recommendations, local discoveries, and things to do. Organic VIP invitations formed the core of the activation, supported by one paid creator partnership. Participating influencers were also provided with a 10% audience discount code to share alongside their coverage. I managed the relationships and logistics that brought the activation together: identifying suitable creators, conducting outreach, coordinating participation and guest visits, communicating campaign details, and following up on content. The project highlights a focused approach to experiential influencer marketing, pairing local creator recommendations with a practical audience offer while giving the agency dedicated, discreet support for campaign execution.

Results

The activation mobilized 10+ creators to produce 40+ pieces of content, generating 45K+ views and 1K+ engagements.

The campaign reached out to 300+ creator profiles and secured 10+ bookings: 14 organic invitations and one paid partnership. Eleven creators attended, and all 11 published content. The activation also recorded 20+ tickets used by influencers and their guests. Together, participating creators published 40+ posts, generating approximately 45K+ views. Custom tracking links recorded 60+ clicks, and 10+ creators shared the audience discount code. My contribution was to manage the creator pipeline and guest experience from invitation through publication, bringing together organic and paid participation within a coordinated local activation.

Content delivered: Coordinated creator coverage of the immersive historical VR experience across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including social posts documenting visits to the attraction and sharing the experience with local audiences. The campaign generated 40+ posts across the three platforms. My work covered creator participation, visit arrangements, partnership communications, distribution of audience offers and tracking links, and follow-up on content publication.
